Dr Gemma Tatangelo
Since graduating from her PhD in Psychology in 2014, Gemma has worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Health and Ageing (IHA). In this role she has designed, managed and evaluated health interventions, including a new program to improve the quality of life of family carers of people with dementia. During her PhD and research fellow roles, she has developed a range of research skills and abilities with particular focus on program development and research design. Her current research is in the areas of health psychology and ageing, with a particular focus on the needs of family carers of people with dementia. Gemma is also a member of the biostatistics team at IHA.
