IHA congratulates Aislinn on her election to ACU Postgraduate Association Vice-President (Research).

Aislinn compressed for webAislinn Healy is an HDR student, supervised by Professor Gavin Turrell and Dr Jerome Rachele, and IHA is proud of her election to a senior governance role on the ACU PGA.

ACU PGA is recognized by the University for furthering the mission and ethos of the university, facilitating and encouraging the postgraduate experience at ACU, advocating for and representing postgraduate students by communicating issues to the university, and providing advice to the university on the allocation of revenue raised through any Student Services Amenities Fees that may be levied.

Aislinn said she is ‘looking forward to representing HDR students over the next year’ especially regarding student activities, interests and concerns. Aislinn’s HDR topic is ‘How does a neighbourhood’s built, social, and socioeconomic environment influence chronic disease and comorbidity?’ and her role with ACU PGA will further enhance her leadership skills and strong commitment to service and the common good.
