Osteoarthritis and Cartilage

OA-QuestDr Lucy Busija, with Professor Rachelle Buchbinder from Monash University and Professor Richard Osborne from Deakin University, have published in Osteoarthritis and Cartilage on the development of the OsteoArthritis Questionnaire (OA-Quest) as a new measure of osteoarthritis burden that is founded on the experiences of people with osteoarthritis and clinicians involved in their care.

The OA-Quest identifies eight major areas of osteoarthritis burden including physical de-conditioning, financial hardship and lost productivity which are not among the domains in the International Classification of Functioning. The OA-Quest is intended to capture an individual’s burden of osteoarthritis, regardless of joint(s) affected, either at a single point in time or change over time.

You can access the OA-Quest from the IHA Research Tools page.
